I started work two weeks ago. I then learned that we might be moving in the first week of August. So I concluded that decorating my cubicle was utterly unnecessary, because I’d have to haul all that stuff up in a few weeks, anyway. It doesn’t stop the occasional co-worker from pointing out that my cubicle looks positively Communist. (It’s minimalist, thank you very much!)
Here’s my work space:

A bit dull, yes?

Note the decorative post-its on the top. Not only do they bring color to the general greyness, but they are functional too! I summarized all my job responsibilities on there. Unfortunately they don’t stick very well on the wall of the cube, so I have to use pins to hold them in place.
I’m also the only person in my office who prefers to use the laptop without the dock. (Notice the dock sitting forlornly to the left).
I’m not sure what I’ll be doing once we move, but I promise there’ll be personal pictures of fuzzy cats and loving relatives. (More cats than relatives, but whatever).
