Jim Duncan, my co-blogger is actually busy with 20 other things right now, so I’m going to be doing most of the blogging. He will be floating around, though, taking pictures and talking to folks. So if you’re at the Convention and see him around, stop by and say hi.

This morning I met with the folks from CareerTV. They’re at the Convention to film footage for their website and they are going to do video resumes for some members at the Convention. Look for those resumes on their website.

From Thursday through Saturday, Jim Duncan and I will be blogging the workshops and speaker events. We may not be able to post it live because wireless internet access is limited in the workshop rooms. Still, be sure to check back for updates. I started work two weeks ago. I then learned that we might be moving in the first week of August. So I concluded that decorating my cubicle was utterly unnecessary, because I’d have to haul all that stuff up in a few weeks, anyway. It doesn’t stop the occasional co-worker from pointing out that my cubicle looks positively Communist. (It’s minimalist, thank you very much!)

Note the decorative post-its on the top. Not only do they bring color to the general greyness, but they are functional too! I summarized all my job responsibilities on there. Unfortunately they don’t stick very well on the wall of the cube, so I have to use pins to hold them in place.
I’m also the only person in my office who prefers to use the laptop without the dock. (Notice the dock sitting forlornly to the left).
I’m not sure what I’ll be doing once we move, but I promise there’ll be personal pictures of fuzzy cats and loving relatives. (More cats than relatives, but whatever).
